Place Network

What We Offer

Professional

Learning

The Place Network package of professional learning services is our most comprehensive partnership. We start the school year with a two-day introduction to place-based education for teachers. To support and extend that initial learning, schools can choose an additional two-day workshop or a package of virtual instructional coaching sessions. Monthly partnership meetings between the school leader and the Teton Science Schools Professional Learning Coach ensure schools get exactly what they need. In our workshops, we model our model; teachers learn about place-based education by experiencing it. Workshops are relevant and engaging, with plenty of time for collaboration and planning, so that teachers can begin applying place-based strategies to their specific contexts.
