Brendan Barnard

Brendan grew up in Connecticut and spent his early years exploring the mountains, lakes, and coast of New England, sparking his passion for the outdoors. After graduating from Boston College, Brendan taught fifth grade at The Park School in Boston, Massachusetts, where he also developed an extracurricular outdoor education club and after-school program. During his summers off, Brendan further pursued opportunities to educate in the outdoors, working as a camp counselor and backpacking trip leader for Camp Agawam in Maine, and as a naturalist guide in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Brendan is thrilled to finally be pursuing his love for outdoor education year round with TSS! In his spare time, Brendan loves hiking, climbing, camping, skiing, playing pickleball, and watching his beloved New York Giants.
