Jill joined the TSS Community in 2024 and is thrilled to be living in this beautiful mountain ecosystem. Jill has worked at numerous national park service sites in a range of roles in science communication, natural resources, and interpretation. She has a B.S. in Parks and Forest Resources, and a M.S in Natural Resources focusing on Environmental Education and Interpretation. Her research focused on children’s interactions with microscopes and magnifying glasses in environmental education settings. Her favorite things about working with youth are observing curiosity, trying and learning new things, and having genuine fun. In her free time, she enjoys visiting museums, natural world exploration, art, and traveling.
