Thank you to all those who were able to attend the 4th Annual Bunnery Benefit, whether it was for a plate of huevos rancheros or a quick muffin from the bakery. Enormous thanks to Caroline, Tony, and Luc Labbe, and Dominique and Gerald Yvernault, owners of the Bunnery, for their generous sponsorship of this tasty fundraising day! Overpayments totaled just over $5,000 and ranged from a few dollars to $1,000. Congratulations to the Kling family for winning the iPad raffle. The appearance of Sumthin Outta Nuthin, the Journeys School high school a cappella group, made this an event not to be missed!
Teton Science Schools’ community will have another fabulous, fun opportunity to come together to support Journeys School on Friday, December 10, for the 7th Annual Amangani Evening and Auction. We hope everyone will join us for “A Literary Journey” in support of education.
We will have a variety of items in the live and silent auctions, from fabulous trips to South Africa or Amanpulo in the Phillipines, to donations from local businesses, such as a Lego basket from Teton Toys, doula and birth services from mountaindoulas.com, and a Sake Sampler from Vine Connections. Parents will enjoy the Teacher Initiatives and Internship Opportunities, which provide students with a chance to spend time learning and having fun outside of class with our teachers and local professionals.
Tickets for the following raffle items are available online on Teton Science Schools’ website. Need not be present to win!
- The amazing Amazon Kindle: $5
- The revolutionary Apple iPad: $15, or $20 for 2
- The Wall of Wine: 100 bottles from around the world: $50
- A Week in Italy: 6 nights at a villa on the Amalfi Coast. Only 100 tickets sold! $100.
Tickets to the Amangani Evening and Auction are $100 in advance and include dinner and drinks. A special room rate of $195 (plus tax) is being offered by Amangani for the night of the event. All funds raised at this event support the Journeys School Annual Fund, which helps cover operations already budgeted for this year.
